Cheat List
To activate the cheat codes:
Press the Shift, Alt, and A keys (all at the same time) while in the Main Menu. Once
the cheat codes have been activated, you can select the cheat you wish to use, while playing a mission, by holding down the
keys listed below.
- Alt, B: Extra soldiers
- Alt, C: Allows access to all missions at the selection screen when you choose campaign
missions
- Alt, K: Free building - no resources required
- Alt, X: 100 popularity and adds 1000 gold
- Alt, G: Destroys the main stronghold
- Alt, L: Level up a unit
- Alt, P: Level up a character
- Alt, F: Everything Free
- Alt, S: Control Time
- Alt, D: Enter debug mode
- Alt, Q: Speed up game play
- Alt, Y: Destroy enemies on the screen
- Alt, Z: Destroy the selected enemy
Shelled Ram Act
The Shelled Ram Act allows you to break down walls and gates with a ram and not get
shot at. Just build a ram, take the 4 engineers out. It can't move anywhere special, but it can break down gatehouses, and
enemy units wont attack or shoot it! Also works with siege towers.
Suiciders
Place a 3-pieced wall infront of a siee engineer with boiling oil anywhere in the
castle and put him on aggressive stance. When an enemy comes near, it will pour the oil onto the ground and burn the enemy.
it also kills the engineer, giving it the name "suiciders"
Megalords and Christmas
On your first time, ya know when the greeting says "Greetings, sire. Your Stronghold
awaits you."? Well, when you choose your name, erase the "Lord Stronghold" and put in "Megalord" with a capital M and no spaces.
When it starts up, it will say "Greetings, Megalord." If you set your computer clock to December 25, it will say "Merry Christmas,
Sire."
Mission 12: "Easy, it's too easy!"
To get through mission 12 fast, on the campaign menu press shift-alt-a and on the
game when it starts press alt-x three times. You will get the required gold once you complete the invading part.

The top 10 best items and where to get them!
1. Steel Plate Body- found in the Lesser Demon's cage in the lava maze (wilderness)
2. Steel Plate Legs- appears occasionally in the ruins with the Deadly Red Spiders (wilderness)
3. Runite ore- more valuable but harder to mine, just north of Lava Maze in wilderness
4. Gold ore- found in deadly red spider ruins in wilderness.
5. Staff of Earth- found in Lava maze (worth 600 gp in general stores, over 800 gp in staff shop)
6. Pizzas- tomato, cheese, and bases are in Bandit camp (Wilderness)
7. Steel sword- found in western ruins in the lava lakes (Wilderness)
8. Iron Kite shield- found in Chaos Dwarf plateau (Wilderness)
9. Iron Med. Helm- found in lava maze (wilderness)
10. cut sapphire- ontop of giant spider mound (wilderness)
How to make GP--The best way!
Chaos runes--appear every few seconds in the dark knight castle (south of bandit camp, wilderness)
in groups of five. One rune is worth 75gp in the Varrock Rune shop. These are easy to collect and sell.

Crusader Cheat List
Hint: Hold Enemies Captive
Inside Their Own Castles
Take a small building such
as an Oxen Tether. Place 1 or 2 of them right outside the gatehouse(s) of your enemy's castle, but make sure their keep is
enclosed first. Immediately put the Oxen Tethers to sleep. The ground troops will walk to the gatehouse to destroy them but
they can't get through, so they just walk back to their spot. Your enemy's buildings outside of the castle will spontaneously
crumble because the workers can't get back inside the castle. Also, the gatehouse(s) you blocked might spontaneously crumble
after a while. Soon there will be no food and the peasants will leave the castle. The small army will be trapped inside their
own walls awaiting your arrival. When your army is built up, you can just waltz over and wipe the whole castle off the map.
(Note: Make sure there are no enemies outside of the castle, or else they will probably come and destroy your oxen tethers.

Make your Own Taunts
First, go into C:\Program Files\Firefly
Studios\Stronghold Crusader\fx\Speech or wherever you installed Crusader. You will find a bunch of sound files. You need a
microphone to do this. To make this easier, put the list of files in alphabetical order. Now, scroll down to the file Insult1.
Insult1=F1 and you get the idea. (You can double click to listen to the file). Now right click on Insult1 to bring up a menu.
Look down the list and find, "record". Click on that and it should bring up the sound recorder. Press record, record what
you want to say and click stop. Instead of going to file save, press the close box and it should come up with a message stating
the directory of the file changed and it will ask you if you want to save the changes. Click yes. Now, you can go into the
game, press F1 and you should hear your recording. You can also do this with any other file in the speech folder. Note:
Be aware that you can't change the file back to its original voice unless you reinstall the game. This is based on Windows
XP and it might not be the same on Windows 98. etc.
